I've been writing about as long as I've been riding. Since about 1972 I guess. Hope you like this and I'll have more as time permits.

As he walks out the door

jacket and goggles in hand

she quietly gives him her love

She does not plead for him to be careful

She does not cry

or beg him to stay home

She only kisses him

and whispers "ride with him God"

In her heart she knows

he must make this run

He has this to do

Because he is a biker

The storm gets stronger

roadways slick with snow

but a brother needs him

into the night he must go

A brother has fallen

the call must be answered

Because he's a biker

Doing the work of the Lord

feel thier rumble,

 hear thier thunder,

thier vibration is in-time,

like the sun and the moon are in-line,

as if in a glance,

as the earth does a dance,

to the rythm of thier pipes,

sync'd in the opening of the night,

fallowing the lead if thier light,

to then feel the rumble,

hear the thunder,

even after thier no longer in sight

we are one
they stand together as a team,
a team of men that share a dream,
a dream of the world that someday,
a day of triumph,
a day of peace,
a peace that covers all the land,
a land united under man

Salute

wolfpack 2
they are a pack of a chosen few,
they pack their bags to somewhere new,
they pack their arms to protect me and you,

they pack together just like glue.......

i had written this for my oldest sons unit "wolf pack 2" in basic training

The Ocean

The Ocean

Where lonely souls

And torn hearts crying go

To have the sand

Tickle their toes

To make you laugh

And then to be washed of any fears

By wave after wave of hope

I Will

I will hold your pain

If you will hold my pain

But we are already in an embrace

With each other

I will ask for your love

Will you then ask for mine?

If we were not already loved

I will forgive you for you

If you can forgive me for me

If we were not already forgiven

By just being together

I will hold your breath in my kiss

If you will hold my breath in your kiss

When will you kiss me again?

Envy Is All That I Hold

So easily you hurt

So readily I accept my own pain

Fascinated with your spells that you weave

I can merely shout, unheard

You have a dagger, no, a sword

You readily cut out your own heart

And tidily place it back into your chest cavity

Smooth and direct swapping spit for writ

A book you lay before all

A hint of fruit, smokey not long held from an aged whiskied barrel

A complicated merlot swathed around many souls

Your thoughts laid out similar to a concrete sidewalk, defined, cracking and cold

Yet we are all drawn to this meandering myth, mirth and substance

Guided by are own lack of pointless wills and soul

Just don't shout at me for my lack of understanding

Or my unwillingness to fall out of my hole

I can and will stand out and behind any, all

My conscience says aloud I should cherish these two inches of air around me

Holding out my outstretched arms, fingers to my hands, unfold

So simple I am

Envy is all that I hold
